  • Chia Seeds

Chia seeds are tiny black seeds from a plant, Salvia Hispanica, related to mint. Don’t be fooled by these small little heroes because they are one of the best sources of several important nutrients. They contain more calcium than a glass of milk, more omega-3 than salmon, more iron than spinach and an excellent source of fibre. They are considered ancient superfoods that can be added to almost anything. Many experts believe that chia seeds can help you to lose weight. Its special effect of being hydrophilic is that it will absorb large amounts of water and expand in your stomach. This should increase fullness and slow the absorption of food, leading to lesser intake of food. The protein from the chia seeds also decreases appetite and food intake.

  • Goji Berries

Also known as wolfberries, goji berries have been considered a superfood since ancient times in China. They are popularly eaten sundried on its own or in salads. Goji berries are known to help boost the immune system and protect the eyes and is renowned for increasing strength and longevity. This little superfruit also contains natural antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial & anti-fungal compounds. This helps slow down ageing, preventing wrinkles and aids in fighting diseases.

  • Bee Pollen

Bee Pollen is considered one of the nature’s most completely nourishing foods and contains nearly all the nutrients required by humans to live. Bee gathered pollens are rich in proteins (more than any animal source), free amino acids, vitamins and folic acid. Bee pollen can increase energy levels, aid digestion, treat inflammatory skin conditions and common skin diseases like psoriasis & eczema. Bee pollen can also inhibit cravings by supressing impulsions and hence used holistically for weight management.
